With this Ad Copy, my goal was to make an example of a promotional post on Hellofresh’s new Thanksgiving recipe, while having a more humorous tone.
Hellofresh’s brand image is more serious than other brands, thus the type of humor that would fit the most would be a light-hearted approach, rather than appealing to the latest memes and trends.
By heading towards a more light-hearted approach, rather than going after memes and trends, Hellofresh will appeal more towards the demographic of middle class families, who look for ways to cook good meals without the hassle of groceries or finding a good recipe.
