This Spec Ad is based on the “Truth Tellers” line of ads from Liberty Mutual, where people come forward and let people know about how much you can save switching to Liberty Mutual.
This line of ads have a pretty outlandish sense of humor, often landing on the more absurd line of comedy. This works for the brand itself, as it brings attention to the amount of money saved, while distracting from the general “boring” image that insurances usually carry.
In the script, I followed the same line of humor, while presenting another scenario to the line of wacky situations people get themselves in, while saving with Liberty Mutual.
